Description: We're looking for a motivated person who will solicit our news/social web 2.0 site to retail businesses throughout Brooklyn and Queens, New York. We have 45,000 businesses on our database - and much like yellowbook or yellowpages.com, we are marketing upgrades in listings to businesses. Our hook is that our 8 local community news websites are getting new information each day. Everything from news, video, event listings, classified ads, blogs, columns and reviews to business web sites are on our site. We will train you to sell to these businesses by training you to develop suspects, turn them into prospects and sales. We offer nice commissions.
Requirements: Knowledge of how the web works and a study of how social web sites fits with local news.
Commitment (hrs/week): 15 hours per week
Deadline: 1/2009
